Warm-growing sea-level plants have tall tapered pseudobulbs with tough narrow leaves. Many-flowered clusters offer attractive rose-lavender lips. Old spikes flower for 2 or 3 years. Grows on rocks in the dry coastal areas. Use a "drier" treatment than you would for most of your other orchids. If this is observed, species is easy.
