Bulbophyllum smitinandii.

Small-size epiphyte has large (2”) showy flowers held erect singly. Background color is gold, petals have reddish striping, the wide dorsal is tessellated with red, and the lateral sepals have bolder red-purple striping. Lip is violet. Only described in 1996, not a lot of information is available. Named to honor Tem Smitinand, Keeper of the Thailand Forest Herbarium.
