Sulawesi Islands, Indonesia. Medium sized epiphyte with a large pseudobulbs and leaf. 5 or 6 large bizarre flowers bloom successively on 2 foot long inflorescences - high above the foliage. Long lateral and dorsal sepals are gold overlaid with red. Intricate lip is green and gold with purple hairs. Easy, rewarding.

Fairly compact plant has very showy singly-borne flowers arising from the base of the pseudobulbs. The colors are amazing in this select variety. Dense red tessellations over orange on lateral sepals and red stripes on petals. Lacquered lip is dark red-purple edged in orange. Obviously superior clone.

Very limited. (Ctsm. Boltieye x Ctsm. Pileabrosum Green) Mrs. Levy, the late illustrious Bulbophyllum lady from Memphis, wanted us to have her unusual hybrid. Flowers are not quite black in color, rather a dark brown on the petals and sepals. The lip is red-brown with contrasting yellow in the center. Easy to grow and flower.

Dwarf epiphytic species is still in demand. Tough little plants produce terminal inflorescences with one or two large (for the plant size) waxy long-lasting flowers. Sepals and petals are greenish yellow, covered with maroon blotches. The showy lip is whitish around the column grading to beautiful amethyst. From rather dry areas near the coast. Good seedlings.
