TD232 Bulbophyllum rothschildianum ‘A-Doribil’ FCC/AOS.
Southern China, India, Assam. .
Bulbophyllum rothschildianum ‘A-Doribil’ FCC/AOS.

Most people are familiar with the famous FCC clone ‘Red Chimney’. The distribution of this clone ‘Adoribil’ has been much more restricted. Very full umbels of up to eight large red flowers, each with very frilly fringed tops (of the dorsal sepals). For Bulbo fanatics. Division. Very limited.
3.50" pot
5.00" pot / B.S.

TD406 Bulbophyllum sp. #3 Vietnam.

This is the cute and attractive species that has been called “Bulbophyllum sulfureum”, however that is an erroneous name. B. retusisculum has been suggested. Anyway, it is a delightful miniature epiphyte with numerous umbels of small sulphur-yellow flowers.
2.00" pot Four only / B.S.

TOF3221 Catasetum expansum `Original' x sib. `Red Lip'
Endemic to Ecuador..

Hot to warm growing in dry forests. Vigorous plants produce arching racemes bearing many large dramatic flowers `cut out of wax'. (Reminiscent of C. pileatum) Colors can be variable.

TOF2237 Cattleya walkeriana var. coerulea `Monte Azul' x self.
No Image Available

Another of my favorite orchids. Compact plants grow in clumps and produce 1 or 2 beautiful large flowers per pseudobulb. The sepals and petals are a soft bluish-lavender, the lip more blue. Beautiful fragrance equal to that of C. jenmanii. "This plant was found in flower among a patch of normal colored forms, growing on rocks by Dr. Ghillany on a rock cliff face, some 45-60 ft. below a granite ledge in the Serra Mantiqueirae, ...in full afternoon sun, flowering in the end of May, 1967... It required being lowered on a rope down the cliff face to collect the plant." (Fowlie, 1977) Very limited.
3.50" empty pot / B.S. One only
