TD459 Restrepia mendozae
Colombia, Ecuador..

We've been working on this a long time - to get enough to list. One of the newest and best Restrepias in our permanent collection, only published in 1996. Beautiful warm-growing plants produce larger single, successive bright yellow flowers on the back of the leaves. This is quite different, the stems of the plant are very tall compared to other Restrepias. Please don't miss out!

Restrepia xanthophthalma.

Variable species is more correctly named R. muscifera. Ours is a broad-leaf form with very colorful flowers, red lateral sepals, dorsal spotted with red-purple. Flowers are produced successively in a fascicle at the base of the back of the leaf. Rewarding easy species.
