TD269 Pleurothallis pacayana.
No Image Available

Correctly, it is supposed to be Pleurothallis gacayana- even though it is named for the Pacayan Volcano. This is said to be an error by Schlecter when describing the species. It is such a strange plant that for now it is one of my favorites! Odd, tall stems are 4-sided topped by an attractive leaf. Cluster of small bright red-orange flowers are at the leaf apices.

TOF3077 Pleurothallis pectinata.
Bolivia, Brazil..
No Image Available

This is the one with the very-cupped leaves. The inflorescence sits in there with 20 or so closely-spaced flowers. This cultivar has more reddish, or maybe brick-red flowers. Many sources call this a miniature, but it actually grows up fairly large, with leaves to 6" or so. Not very available in the market right now and so we are offering them to those who want to get started on this fabulous collectors plant.

TD127 Pleurothallis rowleei.
Costa Rica to Ecaudor and Colombia.

Really sweet little species. Chain of pretty 3/8" flowers are finely spotted and striped with red-purple. Contrasting petals are sweet pink.

TD260 Pleurothallis ruberrima 'Peru'.
No Image Available

The plants are tall (2 ft.) - leaves are narrow and pointed. The single "showy" yellow flowers dangle off the leaf on a short thin wiry inflorescence (in the manner of Pl. adeleae - it surely must be in the same section as adeleae) The flowers are 2 1/4" long. Long dorsal sepal is 1 1/4" long. Platter-like fused synsepal. The overall color of the flower is a translucent gold. A very desirable species.
