Small “miniature” epiphyte has a nice habit – clumping with narrow spiky leaves. Numerous small (1/2”) flowers peak out from the foliage. Cream with the lineas rojas – red stripes. Cute, easy.

TD85 Mediocalcar decoratum.
Papua New Guinea.
Mediocalcar decoratum.

Fabulous genus - 53 species have been described from mountainous New Guinea, but perhaps this should be reduced to less than 15. Small creeping or clumping epiphytes with many small colorful bell-shaped flowers. This one has orange blooms with yellow tips, like candy corn. M. decoratum is apparently from a little lower elevation and warmer-tolerant, so grows very well. Forms beautiful specimens rapidly - we just received a CCE/AOS for our plant!

TOF839 Meiracylium trinasutum.
Mexico, Guatemala.
Meiracylium trinasutum.

A pretty, small growing species resembling Sophronitis cernua in habit, has small, fleshy, purple-tinted leaves. Attractive flowers are bright amethyst. There exist two forms, this is the one with good cinnamon fragrance, like Dentine chewing gum. Photo courtesy Tomas Bajza

TOF2037 Miltonia spectabilis var. rosea.
Miltonia spectabilis var. rosea.

Very beautiful form - large full flowers are rose pink with dark rose vertical veins on the lip. Not at all like the variety Moreliana that we have sold in the past.
3.50" pot One only / N.B.S.

IK1855 Miltoniopsis vexillaria x Mps. roezlii.
Miltoniopsis vexillaria x Mps. roezlii.

So easy to grow and bloom! Everyone loves the floral fragrance. (Mps. Blueana). Remake of historic primary hybrid but using the xanthic form of Mps. roezlii. White flowers with light rose eyes. Yellow to tan mask.  Warmth-tolerant.
3.50" pot / B.S.
