Sabah Borneo.

No Image Available

Rare, very-interesting large hot-to warm-growing Vandaceous species. It blooms with two completely different types of flowers on the same spike! And both flower types are "complete" (both male and female in each). The basal flowers, which are fuller, are orange colored and are fragrant. The apical flowers are yellow with red dots on the sepals and petals and are not fragrant. I only want to sell these for a short time, in this size and at this price. These plants are still several years away from blooming.

M. decoratum is apparently from a little lower elevation and warmer-tolerant, so grows very well. Forms beautiful specimens rapidly - we just received a CCE/AOS for our plant!
