TOF3231 Phalaenopsis celebensis.
Celebes..

Phalaenopsis celebensis.

Gallery
“Miniature epiphyte” (Christenson) Not much is known about its distribution and habitat – relatively recent introduction (1983). Highly regarded for its small plant size, richly marked leaves (dark green marbled with silvery white) and numerous flowers. Small flowers are white, with orangey-brown suffusion on the petals – offset by a nice rose column. Very lucky to be able to offer this!

Phalaenopsis honghenensis 'Natural World' x self.

Gallery
Very limited. This plant in the Aphyllae section was originally labeled as Phal. stobartiana, however Phal. honghensis has been suggested. (It actually looks like the photos of P. stobartiana on Jay's Internet Orchid Species Encyclopedia. Really nice small epiphyte with numerous cheery blooms which are bronzy-green with a bright rose lip midlobe. (plants in the Aphyllae section are known to be partially-deciduous)

TOF2984 Phalaenopsis tetraspis
Andaman Islands..

Phalaenopsis tetraspis

Gallery
Phal. tetraspis is a plant especially worth noting... It is very free-flowering... bearing a rich panicle of ivory white flowers in the way of P. violacea... (E.S. Berkely, Orchid Review, 1893). Sprays of pure waxy white flowers with or without random purple transverse bars. This species is especially cute when blooming at a small size - the ones I had at our big County Fair orchid show sold within minutes. Very limited
