| | Large epiphyte has short spikes emerge along canes carrying large long-lasting white “antelope type” flowers tall yellow multi-twisted petals. White lip is vividly striped with purple. Likes warmth and bright light. “This is one of the most striking of the Spatulatas and a firm favourite in hybrid work.” (Andree Millar, 1978) Many of these antelope-type Dendrobiums were brought to Hawaii by Marines returning from the Pacific at the end of World War II. | |
